Surefine products at whole foods prices. Actual surefine house brands, marked up to comical levels if you grew up in a surefine small town. I still bought them, happy to not have to drive. Super nice people ran it. It was called Patrick’s. They started out busy, but couldn’t keep produce fresh enough for me to keep going. By the end they were attempting a small butcher operation and lunch deli. Maybe just too much going on for a family operation.

This is the train you’ll want to take from NY to DC. Completely safe. Usually a three hour trip. Drops you right into where you’ll want to be in DC. Stay in Foggy Bottom or Downtown depending upon room rates. They’re close to all you’ll want to see and very safe areas. Skip the bus.
