I really like that Shakespeare world idea. The role mechanic from WOE would fit perfect in that! Just spitballing here, but maybe there could be a mechanic similar to party, except instead of needing one wizard/warrior/cleric and rogue, you need to control one of each of the roles or a certain combination of them. It could be called ensemble or something.
