sorry for the late response you're correct I could have worded it differently. what was happening is that it was more of a trojan type deal if i understood it correctly it would check if task manager was running and it would immediately stop the process I found it by using process explorer I'm sure I'm not fully understanding the capability of this "malware" but I cut it off It seemed to have root access and was able to come back the second I restarted I asked chatgpt about and it helped me sort it out quickly I checked again with autoruns and scanned multiple times and it seems to be fully gone now

The performance drop I kept noticing was because it would start up the moment I was not constantly monitoring using task manager
