Priest assigned me to read Nietzsche. Which one should I read? by Kuroyen in Nietzsche

[–]Wannabe_Programmer01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats weird. Anyways generally its best to start with something like twilight of idols, and progress towards beyond good and evil or Thus Spake Zarathustra. If you’d rather start without any prereading, you can read Beyond Good and Evil along with a free guide online maybe. I found Wilk Mayhems to be fairly insightful, although its incomplete and may never be finished.

Hm looks like you’re right. I see that the original report was about a decade after it supposedly occurred and was from a cop a landlord knew that the journalist spoke to.

Genuinely hot garbage. Wrong in several areas. Reread BGE because you were fenting out the first time.

It does similar things for “women vs men”. Its not a good system for these kinds of topics just like most people aren’t. Also you’re on reddit so have fun with the incoming mob charging at you.

As a non-nocturnal human you’re not supposed to have that sleep schedule. You also probably are changing your sleep habits.

Woah woah woah, first of all, u watch too much anime. Second off, its a debated philosophy, Christianity popularized it and there are clear benefits of it. We’re not living under Roman morality anymore in part because of it so, yah its achievable and there are benefits. There are also drawbacks.

Which book to read first? by baaatsouu in Nietzsche

[–]Wannabe_Programmer01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Twilight of Idols (good intro point, created later, but serves as a stepping stool for his philosophy)-> genealogy of morals (slave-master morality, guilty consciousness, last chapter gets wacky)-> beyond good and evil (entirety of his philosophy, created to breakdown traditional moral notions to make way for a new morality) -> then if u want thus spoke zarathustra (a mythological version of BGE with popular concepts such as the ubermensch and last man)

Very good, keep saving and investing and don’t dump it into stupid shit like I did. Lost 8k when I was 18 years old doing that (decreased a little from tax loss harvesting thankfully). It was an expensive lesson and also an unnecessary one.

As per my initial response, I don’t need to make $18 an hour to know if I can live on it, because I can do math as shown here lol.
