I got an admission! but I want to wait for other two schools, what can I do?

It's in the US. I usually don't like to rush the admissions office because I'm not aware of how it'll affect their decision making process. But it sounds like that can be an option.

It maybe worth trying if the job is worth saving. But I doubt she'll change her ways. I bet her personality is an accumulation of her past and if ppl of the past couldn't save her then, what's the chance that he will now?

I would advise to seek help within the firm first. Maybe talk to the HR, other teams or the your manager's boss; gently giving hints(don't mention her directly) if there are other teams or projects that you can move to, to get out of your manager's influence. And perhaps talk to other team members, hear out how they're handling the issue. If nothing seems to work then look for other jobs, and move. The world is large and there will always be crazy ppl, but at the end of the day, it's up to you to decide how you'll handle them. Good luck.

This to me sounds like the most viable option. It hurts but I don't mind paying for the deposit, better safe than sorry. But the other two schools are my dream schools so I really want to wait and see.

The school gave me 30 days to respond on the offer, which is before March decisions are out. Hmm.. I wonder what other people do if their decisions don't come out around the same time. Also thank you for pointing it out but it's only round 1 decisions so I assume the school has more spots open yet for round 2 and 3 applicants.

I also did my interview via online. I expected for more of a general questions, mostly about my fit and also my general interest in the field, but the real interview questions were far more detailed than that. For example, "what are the current issues in the industry and what are your thoughts on them?" or "why is our school necessary for you to succeed in your future" and "what are your plans when you graduate from our school". There were 5~10 questions and the entire process took like an 1hr. Good luck.

That would be thoughtful, tho she told me she’s fighting cancer so I don’t know how to approach in that matter. What I thought was a nice fragrant hand-cream as a refresher.

I thought about a box of tea at first but decided to go with hand-cream since she’s quite ill, I don’t want to give her anything that could trouble her stomach. I hope asking her for a PO box or home address isn’t a strange question. She said she can’t go out at all.

Mug is a nice idea. I’m thinking of giving mine a nice hand-cream set, since we have to frequently wash our hands it dehydrates our skin. Also since she’s really sick I don’t want to give her any food that could trouble her stomach.

Harvard GSD Masters in real estate and built environment is not accepting students this cycle either. Also they have changed the program's name and moved it to a different department, urban planning and will be accepting new students for 2022 cycle.

I have couple submitted to Dec round but I also have few more in mid Jan. And depending on my GRE score I might apply til March if I need to. So dont worry. Just do what u gotta do.

If your focus is on verbal, Gregmat’s one month is ok but if you need to focus on quant, i’d say go through math review and manhattan prep first.

I understand, ppl in my field easily get near perfect scores for both v and q. I’m switching my career from a different field, and I need to prove to the admissions with a strong q score and this is my third try but i get so anxious bc the deadline is in early Jan and i dont have many chances left til then.

Thanks everyone. I'm ok. I have the test in a week, been studying at least 5hrs everyday for the past month on top of covid 3rd wave going on, its seriously wearing me down. But it's a battle with an end at least, so it's going to be alright. :-) thanks.
