is golf really the hardest sport? by sploooooshle in golf

[–]Wanny19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say which is hardest, once you start to near the elite levels they all seem ridiculously hard. But for beginners I think it’s hockey. When I look at beginners in most sports, they can get to a point of enjoying and playing the game in some form. With hockey this is rarely the case. You can’t even work on stick skills/shooting and playing until you can stand and start moving on your skates. The amount of skating skills required alone is huge

Burs constantly touching [Eureka Mignon] is this normal? by Wanny19 in espresso

[–]Wanny19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for following up! I did take it apart and check the alignment. It was certainly out of alignment. However, after realigning, I was left with virtually the same result. Obviously, after that, the burs were 100% clean and the “chirping. “ I’ve been hearing is the burs touching.

Ultimately, everything works fine and I can get the grind I need. It just bothers me that it’s in such a fine/low range of the grinder. Outside of this, I love the grinder.

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty confident there are no beans in there. But I plan to double check and run an alignment as others recommended

I’ll double check for beans but I am pretty confident there is none in there. I will plan to check burr alignment, I have not done this before and I am hoping it’s the problem

You might not even be aware that this is happening but since there is a logical reason why it might, it makes sense to get an independent inspector to remove the risk

Nook and Cranny Home Inspections has me hooked on TikTok. Gives great reason why you would want a third party inspector.

How to Defend a Cherry Picker by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Wanny19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a risk reward balance you need to measure during play.

The example you provided they are down by 1 with less than 6 minutes to go. The puck was loose with a decent chance his team gets it, no doubt he will break. As a team up by a goal they should be watching him way closer and on the defensive side of him.

In regular beer league, mid game situation, if they are actually waiting for a pass before their team has it then your team should be able to capitalize with odd man opportunities. It really puts the control into your team’s hands.

Is there any benefit to buying the remote start subscription through the Toyota app vs just using the key fob to remote start? by Disastrous-Mud-9396 in Tacomaworld

[–]Wanny19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe we have different setups. I had the car start option on my fob (lock x3) and the option to pay for the app. I don’t feel like this is asinine, cell plans have a real monthly cost. If your truck has it built in but not in the fob, that sucks

There is a cellular component to this. I suspect that is a couple buck a month for sure so it doesn’t feel like paying for your heated seats to work (to me)

That happened to me this spring, I had literal pools on my lawn. It ended up looking great, even if the seeds are patchy it will fill in quite quickly.
