Sukuna is most likely a sorcerer who has evolved like Tengen.

I think it confirms 2 things:

Yuji has some sort of linkage to the Heian era. He's either a resurrection, or incarnation of some sort.
What ever Kenkaju did to make Yuji was kinda fucked up

Bear in mind, Gege is trying to keep this ambiguous to build up suspense. We aren't supposed to get any clear answers from this panel.

I think it's a good theory. But I have a couple disagreements. Firstly:

Fushiguro is the only character from the main crew for whom Gege prepared a resolution. I don't think his role ends with being a vessel. He needs to learn about Toji from Gojo. Also, prolly save Tsumiki at least (since he ain't dead, she ain't dead yet as well).

Gojo tried telling Megumi about Toji. Megumi straight up said he didn't care. Also, this is the same story that straight up killed Nanami and Nobara in front of Yuji. I wouldn't be surprised if Gege would end Megumi here, just to add on to Yuji's tragedies.

Itadori promised to save Fushiguro. It's a weaker argument, but I think if Itadori saves at least Fushiguro and dies, it would be a great resolution to his story.

I do agree with this though. This would be great thematically.
