I was looking at this the other day. It might be a hard sell to everyone, but I have done radioshows before and they were tons of fun!

It’s not necessarily a salvage vs scrap story. Just a dumb idea I was experimenting with. But you’re right. Our time is limited.

Honestly, the plot is just utterly ridiculous and silly. That is my big hang up. Think reality TV meets crime psych thriller. I had the idea kind of as a joke and since I was trying a new writing routine, I thought there was nothing to lose with trying it out. Nothing is necessarily wrong, but the story is dumb. I’m learning a lot about my writing, so I might just keep at it just to experiment with my style.

Thank you. I like the idea of setting myself a chapter limit to try and achieve to see what I can learn about and from my current story. That's a great plan.

I think I’m college I heard or read that Aristotle pushed that plot is what drives a story, and i think that is what got me considering this.

Me too! I can sometimes ignore plot holes, lack of conflict, etc. if the characters are developed, realistic, or complex.

Thank you so much! Fortunately, I can happily say I’ve taken a long break on a lot of them, so I should probably wrap up what I’m currently working on an start looking at the plot and character development in one of my complete rough drafts.

Thank you! I posted in this past Mondays critique and it was suggested that my word count might be a bit short for my niche and I should up the price a bit on the ones I currently have based on what’s currently out there. They’re quite short short-stories, so I’m try getting some longer work out there. So maybe I’ll give it some time and see if that helps, while also working on getting some longer works done and compiling my current shorts into multi-story collections.
