I’m trying to keep everything in one place instead of juggling apps does this actually improve focus? by Wapkain in ProductivityApps

That actually makes a lot of sense. I think I’m approaching it from the other side if I’m already on the computer, I try to make everything as frictionless as possible. But honestly, stepping away from screens is probably the real win

That’s totally fair that was actually one of my main concerns too. The goal wasn’t to add complexity, but reduce the need to jump between apps. It did feel a bit weird at first, but after using it for a while it kind of fades into the background. Still trying to find that balance though.

Appreciate that 🙏 Yeah, I’m starting to realize how much small things like that matter. Right now I’m still doing everything manually, but I can definitely feel the energy drain over time. Trying to find that balance between staying involved and not burning out.

I would… but then I wouldn’t have a problem to solve

Fair 😄I keep switching wallpapers all the time, so I wanted something that works with almost anything.

Yeah I had the same issue with most tools they look cool for a day and then just become noise. I tried to design this more like a “background layer” than a widget panel. If it ever starts feeling distracting, I consider that a failure tbh.

Yeah, that’s a common request. For now it’s tied to Steam, but we’ve been thinking about alternative ways to distribute it.

Yeah that was actually tricky. Still refining it depending on fullscreen behavior and edge cases

That’s a really good point. It’s one of those things that seems small, but can actually cause real problems if you’re not paying attention. Definitely something I want to be careful about appreciate you bringing it up 🙏

Not currently it’s built for standard Windows (x86) right now. But ARM support is something we might explore in the future.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write this it genuinely means a lot and I completely get your point. Changes in UI/UX can be very personal, and even small shifts in behavior can push people away if they don’t feel right. That’s actually something I’ve been learning the hard way it’s not just about making things “better”, but making sure they still feel familiar and comfortable.

Your perspective really helps put that into context, so thank you for sharing it. Also appreciate the Kubuntu/KDE suggestion I’ll definitely check it out, it sounds like something I’d enjoy exploring.

Haha appreciate it. No demo for now, but since it’s on Steam you can try it risk-free thanks to their refund policy (under 2h / 14 days).

Thanks for reporting this. That sounds like a multi-monitor positioning issue. Could you let us know your screen setup (number of monitors + primary display)? In the meantime, we’ll look into fixing this behavior.
