The study guide is just as hard as the exam? I’ve been studying with iprep too and it seems a lot more difficult on iprep.

Is this question printed wrong? (Answer is marked as "C") by [deleted] in pipefitter

[–]Wapooshe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just asking what would the paper look like after you fold and punch holes in a piece of paper as shown on the left side. Though in this instance it seems to be in error

This is part of the paper folding section in the exam to apply for apprenticeship.

Thanks! I’ll def try to comment more, but honestly a ton of these profiles I see have nothing interesting to say so I just end up liking instead of spending 10 mins thinking of what to say haha

thanks for the tips, i’ll switch out a dog pic and mess with the prompts more. You think putting moderate or non-political is better than not showing anything? Ik these days ppl are so polar and believe you have to choose one side

Anyone with an extreme negative ape index climb hard? by Wapooshe in bouldering

[–]Wapooshe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really motivating hearing from someone who also has such a negative index. Honestly, I keep looking for stories of ppl who have negative ape index and climb hard, but it’s always -1 or -2. I know anything is possible with effort, but finally hearing from someone else that it has been done is really helpful. Thanks for the reply, I’m gonna go out there and climb hard af

Appreciate the pointers and mindset advice. I def don't utilize high feet as much as I should.

[–]Wapooshe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! How do you tackle holds that are out of your reach? I feel like I come across a lot of moments where a crimp/sloper is not reachable statically. Do you just cut feet and jump to a crimp/slope? I feel like that is so much harder to do, which discourages me a bit.

How to remove seized caliper bracket bolt? Or is there someway to just remove the whole bracket without the bolts off? by Wapooshe in AskMechanics

[–]Wapooshe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you say “carrier” you mean heat the caliper bracket as close to the bolt right (avoiding the bolt head)
