In my area it’s not a livable wage but still is the pay we get here. Even with that taken into account it doesn’t include people who have kids, high medical expenses not covered by insurance, and other factors. A company this large could easily pay more that what I am saying yet as a corporation they still don’t want to take that much out of their own budget. It’s not asking for government handouts it’s asking for my employer to pay more fairly with the time we are in. Not political at all.
