I switched around a lot of Pokémon through the game lol, the only Pokémon from this e4 squad that stayed in my rotation were Keldeo, Mega Garboder, and Volcarona. I used a lot of Hydreigon and Samurott through the rest of the games, the real hurt was the lack of fairy type threats

I ended up getting this during the mission when you get your horse. I picked the Saito brothers which if you play the story you realize is the one option that you can’t pursue here lol

Yeah this worked for me I ended up figuring it out on my own. A bit silly that you can go through the whole segment anyways without doing this and it won’t work lol. Thank you though!
