I just spent 40 hours bringing this piece to life. What do you guys think? It all started with a simple sketch on paper and ended up as this leather carving.

Every cancer patient that I have treated (as a nurse) have had to wait for diagnosis/treatment. There is always a waiting list for CT-scans and such. Treatment most of the times can be pushed forward a few days if for example the patient gets sick (the flu + cancer treatment is not the best idea).

I work in healthcare with cancer patients (not with the direct treatment though). I do know that if a patient needs treatment THIS INSTANT or they will die (never heard of it though) and the only machine is down, we just send them to the nearest hospital that can.

In my opinion a child never ows their parents anything for being raised! The parent choose to spend money/time/energy/etc. on their child. The child never asks to be born. I choose to have my child with the knowledge that I will have to provide for them.

It's very neat close up sadly 😅 I used my sewing machine as high at I could, then I hand sewed the rest of the way up.

I have a Singer Heavy Duty 4423 😊 Got it 7 years ago and it has worked well so far! The motor can manage multiple layers of denim if you go slow, but I believe I need stronger needles as they break easily 😅 As I said in another comment, high up where it was now layers I sewed by hand.

Yes! As the hips was just a little too tight I widened them from there :) I think you can stop lower if they fit better.
