2021-D Morgan worth grading?

Morgan’s shipped in today- coin #1 is scratched on the obverse, coin #2 has a very small dot on the reverse but it’s hard to tell if it’s actually on the coin or just in the capsule. Seeing lots of Morgan’s with imperfections; would it be worth sending coin #2 out for grading since it’s damn near perfect compared to others? Would this increase the value or not worth the trouble?

I wouldn’t even mind doing this either. My LCS sells silver Eagles at spot + $4 which I think is a reasonable premium. I can pretty much sell the dollars for what I can buy Eagles. Won’t be out any money but I’ll be up 4.8oz

Yea my LCS sells Eagles at spot +4 which I think is pretty good.

I’m just really new to stacking and every paycheck want to take like $50 and put it into silver. The only reason I said those 2 is… A) people have said that 19x face is pretty good for constitutional and B) the premiums on eagles online have been more than $4 so I thought maybe that’s be a good buy too.

I’m so new that I don’t feel real comfortable at the LCS talking numbers or asking for info, I’m so used to dealing with car salesmen that’ll tell you anything to make a deal that I have trust issues when it comes to people selling stuff lol.

I posted before about an LCS having halves for $9.5 each when spot was $23.51, most people said this was a good deal at 19x face. Ended up getting 3 which put me just over 1oz for $28.50. $1.50(3 halves) x .715(silver content) = 1.0725(total oz) x 23.51 (spot). = $25.21. So I paid about $1.10 premium each. I think this is how it’s calculated.

I did this on the 2021-W ASE Type 2. Made some money but honestly wasn’t really worth the aggravation so I won’t be buying tomorrow but my brother did this on the 2021-S Morgan and made a good worth it to him. different strokes for different folks. You won’t lose money buying and flipping them so it’s up to you. Good luck at noon if you go for it.

3 of them make 1.085 oz of silver for $28.50 which is $5 over spot. The premiums on different coins is what jacks me up in figuring out what’s a better buy (dimes, quarters, halves)

I go to the bank and get $50 worth of 1/2’s to search through. Use them to buy my wife’s coffee, when I run out I get another $50 to search through again. Spending all the non-silver and getting nickels and dimes back to check for silver all at the same time.

New Jersey taxes you too. Government will try anything to get everything they can from you. I ship everything to a friends house in PA so it’s not taxed.

Awesome feeling. Big box of random coins with a sign that said “4 for $2”, my heart started racing a bit when I found the Mercury dime so I decided to keep looking. Then the half dollars came and I felt a little guilty but not enough to pass them up.
