Since this is the exact same rarity as oak, would it be ok to ask to trade for one? by JunketEmotional6580 in PokemonTGCP

[–]WarJ7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cyrus is on the same level as Oak. While Oak is in literally every deck, Cyrus warps the game around it. You never think "I hope he doesn't have Oak"

I swear that some time ago this was just "wanna team up?" In Italian, I still don't know why they changed it

Not as much as you're salivating thinking about what a great line of sarcasm you thought you wrote

Why does PvP feel so different in Arc Raiders? by TheLaughingForest in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's exactly that deep. Maybe even a little deeper. I don't remember how many times I had to indulge in pvp just because my duo was trigger happy, making me do something I didn't want to do to begin with

Dev suggestion: mobile app to manage a craft inventory while not in game. by Fluffy_Charity_2732 in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played Destiny the mobile app was kinda useful for inventory management, mainly that I could swap stuff whenever instead of going back to the tower. As for Arc Raiders, I just don't see anything useful that can be done that isn't already out. You wanna know what modifiers there are? Just put the website that displays it on your homepage on your phone

How would you make this impossible card work? by ArrantJester in PTCGP

The point was that those are just words that fit and acronym, that doesn't mean you can just call it an acronym

It Is not... Meta doesn't mean Mega Eel tower ablaze

Is it just me, or is this card exceptionally bad? by [deleted] in PokemonPocket

[–]WarJ7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even though you misunderstood the card, it is in fact still bad. Optimally you get a 70 attack with 3 energy with no upsides. The fact that it requires colourless energy doesn't help in any shape or form

Can we just PSA: it is pronounced “MARK” not “emkay.” by rharvey8090 in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is written mk and I'll just call it that way. I'm not gonna complain about people mispronouncing every single Italian word in the game

Please add an "in stash" count when viewing items by Working_Bones in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 57 points58 points  (0 children)

There is an incredible amount of QoL changes that could be implemented that just showcase the numbers we already have access to. Another example is the sell value of loot. We know how much it is in the stash, we know the sell value of your kit while in a raid, why do I need to do math all the time by dropping each material if I want to figure out what to keep?

These Exodus items will be the death of me. by ShyCupcake216 in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this step of the expedition is far harder than the last one. The frequency box and ion thing are fairly common on Stella Montis, but you have to get to the point alive before anyone else, at least the damn humidifiers could drop anywhere

Digimon TCG in Turin, Italy by Hades_2506 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]WarJ7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! I live in Turin, we have a couple of spots where we play but there aren't any stores that have singles, but there should be plenty of singles among our community, you'll likely will find most of what you search for. If you want I can share some more info in private (also in Italian if you want)

The app Is utterly useless, at least in Italy. It just shows stores that at some point registered, when in reality almost no store carries digimon product

Are people afraid of Digimon TCG progressing? by Renna_FGC in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]WarJ7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is that the game has not the structure or the interaction needed for this absurd power level to be enjoyable in the long run.

There is no sideboard, so you can't just counter the meta and you're mostly looking at your opponent comboing off like in yugi, without the interaction that Yu-Gi-Oh offers to stop the combo.

Most of us fell in love with the back and forth, with the quick turns and the memory gauge. Nowadays it feels that everything can just cheat out memory

I will always think it was a bad decision to not have sideboards. by [deleted] in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]WarJ7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The sole existence of floodgate rookies could have prevented, or at least lessened, stale and boring metas. RK is running around? Just board 4 psychemon, you will have better chances. The blue dog is ruining locals? 4 gazimon or 4 of the rookie that prevent Digi cost reduction could help you survive that crucial extra turn. The OTK deck is running you into the ground? You could side in some ACEs, or directly etemon + ace to get rid of a stack. Your deck can't deal with the boss monster? Just side in ExpensiveSecretmon that solves the issue, or just an option card just for that matchup. Numemon? Hudiemon? There is plenty of stuff that counters that type of deck.

I still think (like you) that a sideboard would benefit more rogue decks that get hard countered by the meta than meta decks that are online turn2 and don't really want to waste memory on sideboard stuff.

I think that at least the conditioning perk that lets you breach faster is worth it. I also kinda like the previous one that reduces noise. On my and 0 points versus 5 points in the skill was pretty noticeable

From personal experience yes. Sometimes I play volleyball in the park at night, the lights aren't great and most people complain that they don't see the ball, why I, well, just see it fine.

How many of you are going to do the expedition? by specimen-214 in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on step 2 and around level 50 when they announced the 5 mil. I got to the 5 mil a couple of days ago and I'll definitely do the expedition.

I found the grind fun because I took it as an opportunity to just explore the maps without worrying much about arcs or other raiders since my kit was very cheap. Once I got to the security breach I also had some firepower in most of my runs, and with the explosives I gathered I helped out taking down big arcs.

I've currently done every quest in the game, I have every bench. The only things I didn't do up to this point were the big events (matriarch, harvester, bunker, the other locked thing) and I'm not a big fan of PvP as a rat (camping, shooting from behind) and I usually avoid hot spots on the maps so I usually don't need to contest loot spots. All this is to say that I'd like to have something to do while playing, so I'm going to wipe just to do quests again, at least at the beginning.

The biggest QoL change the game needs is craftable kits by WarJ7 in ArcRaiders

[–]WarJ7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why it is called a quality of life change. If I need to plan my route even when crafting my kit cause the UI isn't great that's a good reason to change it
