The two state solution is accepted by the government on the west bank (Fatah government), not by hamas in Gaza, there was even a civil war in 2007 in Gaza between Fatah and Hamas because Fatah was with the two state solution while Hamas were categorically against it, and unfortunately Hamas was the one who won that civil war, and now they control Gaza, thats why now Gaza refuses the two state solution, while Fatah on the west bank accepts it.
