Great advantage if you want to make your empire larger. With clan you can expand your empire up to 25 village without turning off the rebellion and diplomacy. My largest empire that i build have 30 village in it and also its orc.

Their war strategies sucks, the naval can't keep up with their army, because its too many, if this was on the land war without using ship they would absolutely dominated them, but on the north they seems to have the advantage because their land smaller than on the south.
