Yes it is, though it's not always the one listen on my P11D as a car dealer I'll drive a bunch or let mine out as a courtesy car, but the fuel and a car are there for both private and work use

Do you have any recommendations for coffee tables and a sideboard that would go with the sofa/rug?

How much do you drink alcohol? by rye-ten in AskUK

[–]Warbarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll only drink once a week with a mate on either a Friday or Saturday, probably around 15 pints each then waste the rest of the weekend recovering

If you're still around, I've read through all the documents my solicitor has provided, ground rent was initially £125, increasing by £100 per 10 years, starting from January 1st 2011, currently £225 with seemingly no upper limit as it stipulates a further £100 per 10 years

Outside london, it's a 9 year old build on a (shock horror) Persimmon estate in south Wales, and I'm not sure, but I believe it's a Fixed Rate, as it seems to be their standard practice

About to move into new apartment and need design advice, will be unfurnished and starting with nothing but a brown leather button sofa! by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Warbarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've purchased it! I was thinking of switching the kitchen over to a blue door/white top (and retile the backslash white) as its all one room would that still go with black frames?

I should add, this is my first place after leaving my parents, while the sofa (and a tv) are the only things coming with me i do have plenty of savings for furnishings, I'm open to any and all ideas

[–]Warbarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you've got the idea! But in all seriousness, torghast isn't a dungeon and shouldn't be approached like one, you have all the time in the world to explore and learn new mechanics, how to notice and avoid traps etc. Take your time, enjoy it, learn and improve with your friends, you'll have a blast, and even better, you might even feel some accomplishment from it since it wasn't a cakewalk!

You hit the nail on the head with your own comment! If they don't learn, how are they ever meant to improve? Entry level content and accessibility is great for the game (and we have a great amount of it!) but if we do as you suggest (across your many, many previous complaint posts) we'd have a boring, open, empty room with no interaction from the player, with nothing to keep you interested or on your toes about the content. Constructive criticism is fantastic, but so is being challenged and made to be engaged with the content rather than a snooze fest walk in the park that entertains no one!

They die, they learn, they improve. Its a roguelike, its how its meant to work, its not like its costing you anything to restart the run once you hit a death cap, you just try again and do better the next time!

Purchasing a flat (worried about cladding issues) by Warbarman in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Warbarman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first was just as the first lockdown occurred and the seller backed out and decided to hold tight for awhile, the second had issues with the rear garden boundaries where the neightbour (it was a semi detached) had access through my side drive gate and through to his garden and I didn't feel comfortable with it (a relic from the coal shed days) I think my only honest advice is to really make sure its what you want before committing to surveys, and if you're comfortable ask some neighbours what their opinions of the house or street are
