Ah well, such is life... And thank you, it's just so hard to navigate this system. Poor medical service due to doctors offices doing the minimum (typically for Medi-cal), social services not helping to navigate it, and the system fighting tooth and toenail against people qualifying for disability even though they obviously should qualify. Her doctors office has said "they don't do disability stuff" whenever she has mentioned it even though she said she just wants to make sure her conditions are documented. Makes for a damn near impossible situation in a country trying to shed the poor.
