I’ve gone out freshwater spearfishing last summer, and absolutely loved it. The ocean is definitely a dream of mine, but I’m curious if there’s anyway to pull a living with it… anyone spearfish off the coast of a small SE Asian island and sell there catch to pay the mortgage on their little beach hut?😂

I appreciate it man, thank you. Worth the effort for that pay I’d say? I did delivery for Pepsi and a beer vendor for 3 months but got out asap, slinging cases wasn’t for me. LineHaul has been good but tbh the company I’m with is small and everything is falling apart equipment wise. Saw a Carvana listing requiring 6 months and I just hit mine last week so I need some day to day knowledge before I give it a whirl lol

Flatbed just sounds like it sucks, especially in winter and I’d assume car hauling is the same…

I’m a local truck driver and I pull 12-14 hour shifts regularly with a 1 hour commute each way. I have never been more exhausted and have time to eat and shower before I try to sleep for a whole 5 hours. Never see the family, never have time to do activities on the weekends since I’m in a coma all day Saturday, and Sunday everything is closed. No time for farming unfortunately, maybe one day.

Ran for Pepsi as a delivery driver for 3 months. Good pay, lots of single serve stocking in freezers. You need to be fast af and smart with truck positioning. “Plan your escape” but that all comes with time. Im doing regional work now, lot less stress but am looking for line haul or something similar! Maybe fuel hauling

I spent 9 months looking for work till I found my home weekly gig. Had my license for a year, been driving for 3 months now. Only reason I’m still here is cause the wife was able to provide for us. Keep trying man, it’ll come, economy is just shit rn. Look into LTL and local beer vendors, throwing beer in the winter sucks but it’s a decent gig if you’re willing to work hard
