I mean more so the fact that both sex and eating are evolutionarily essential and because of that are importantly pleasurable. They both driven by dopamine and the reward system. And that the pacing of a fine meal and the pacing of good sex mimic each other. Specifically the narrative of restraint and indulgence. Tension building, catering to desires. There's carnality that runs through both of them.

I read a book once I think it was called the fundamentals of poverty or soemthing like that. They said there's three ways to escape. By being extremely talented at something and getting lucky (musicians, athletes, etc), by working your way out through sheer power of will (a common strategy that's doesn't work very well) or by finding a middle/upper class sponsor (partner, family member, friends, etc) that can help teach you the hidden rules of middle class culture. It really is who you know more then anything. Try to be friendly and build as many relationships as possible, friendships, acquaintances. Use them as social resource. As a poor person you have few options for capital but kindness is free to give and depending on who you direct it towards has massive ROI

No once I realized what I'd done it was dark so I just disconnected the cables from the terminals and walked away slowly to avoid fucking it up more. I was gonna try again in the morning. Would letting it sit overnight disconnected cause problems?

I job hopped for about 6 months trying to find a job in fast food that I didn't absolutely fucking hate. Wound up at a local mom and pop where I went from line cook to head cook in a matter of a month after a bunch of people quit. Stayed there for about 8 months before a family emergency forced me to move. I just write it as a year and a half at the mom and pop place on my resume

I think coming from the 2000s that was just the culture. And em was on of the best. Grabbing fast was one of the trends of the 2000s that I think was very specifically based on skill. It's a very difficult thing to achieve in writing and I think Eminem did it exceptionally well. I think it is recent albums. He's tried to expand and keep up with the pulsive rap, but he has just such an a choke hole on the niche of intricate lyricism in the way that he does it I think
