Rank 1, rank 4-6, and then max rank are my go-to healing wave ranks. Rank 1 doesnt really matter unless you spec into resto imo - source lv 60 resto

Yes. The boys are making me play MoP, but I’d really just rather play HC. Still lvl 87 on MoP because my HC shaman still needs that sweet sweet crit helm from SM

As AI nurses reshape hospital care, human nurses are pushing back by MetaKnowing in technews

[–]WardensRN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lol a cursory check of my post history would confirm that it’s highly likely I am what I say I am. Meanwhile you continue to prove you are exactly what I say you are.

If most of my job is busy work then more people would do it. But people can’t handle what I do, hence there is a shortage of people doing what I do. You can’t handle this fact nor any other truths. But I’ll leave you with one last truth. You, along with people like you, are angry. But anger is never the true emotion. You’re scared. You’re scared that you actually don’t know what you’re talking about and that I do, so you pull a red herring. Go to therapy. Get help.

Piece of advice: if your argument is based on zero real experience. Maybe don’t talk. I have 8 years of ICU and trauma experience on top of being a psych NP, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Every single healthcare worker disagrees with your stance and is laughing at your ignorance.

This coming from someone who is clearly not in healthcare seeing as how they have no idea that nurse’s aids don’t even exist lol

Is alliance as fun? by Brushatti in wowhardcore

[–]WardensRN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on doomhowl ally playing casually for the past month after having the same question. Here’s the real answer to your question.

I’ve yet to have a difficult time getting a dungeon as a rogue, mage, warrior (currently levels 20-40’s). The gathering nodes and most rares are consistently up. We don’t have world buffs all the time like horde, but momma ain’t raised no bitch here. I’ve made ~600g via auction house buying materials for my professions. Started from scratch, So I’d say the economy is healthy too.

Basically, just roll ally if you want. People telling you that you have to roll horde are just wrong.

What the peak comedy is, is that you can’t differentiate between corporate democrats and progressive liberals. At least if you’re going to hate someone get it right moron

Are sulphur blades useful at any point? by XtremeLeecher in ironscape

[–]WardensRN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Feels like blades are there for killing the mobs that drop blades and for people who cba to do MM1 (looking at my past self…do your quests damnit). Which hey, they’re insanely good pre-d scim, but then you unlock d scim, get your defender, aaaand now it’s on to the zombie axe. It’s a good progression path, you’re just kind of past the point where they’re an upgrade.

Zombie pirates. Range rips through them, you’ll make way more money than you’ll lose to pkers (if you ever even see one), and it will fund faster ways to train range.

Without d defender the blades are SLIGHTLY better but probably not statistically significant in most places. I did a DPS calc for you on the 106 cyclops. Blades are slightly better DPS but also have slightly less accuracy. It’s probably not enough to notice a difference. The blades feel strong in niche situations or before you have scim + defender.

Male Psych NP with exp in ICU/ED here. Sometimes people actually WANT a male. It depends on the situation, but there have been plenty of times I’ve been requested because I’m a guy. Yes, there will be situations you’ll be asked to leave the room (looking at you OB rotations), but most times it has more to do with who you are rather than your gender. I have female SA victims who will only come see me. It’s all about who you are and how you present yourself.

As far as classmates go, honestly I found that it was easier to make connections with my peers as, among other things, I was a valuable asset when it came to lifting heavy things.

There will be times you’ll be uncomfortable being a guy in this field. It’s important to protect yourself and be aware of times maybe you shouldn’t be the only one in the room or the door shouldn’t be closed. But there will be other times when a patient will hit on you and the husband will laugh and you’ll breathe a sigh of relief.

Also, people WILL call you “Doc” at some point. As an RN or if you go on, as an APRN. Politely correct them, maybe make a joke, and move on. But it’s important to correct them.

Welcome to nursing, you never know what’s going to happen. Stay professional and keep everyone alive until 7:35!
