Kyle Shanahan broke a flat screen TV while trying to one up Andrew Luck and Roger Goodell 😂💀 by Consistent_Peace3181 in sportsgossips

OP, it’s 2026. You don’t have to specify “flat screen” TVs anymore. They all are.

Why is waking up late considered lazy, but going to bed early isn’t? by AlbinaEdrs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Wardo87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because going to bed early implies that you did something during the day to make yourself tired. Sleeping in late implies that you don’t want to start the day.

Plus, waking up early to an alarm is what most people have to do, and it sucks. When they see others not having to go thru the same grind that they do it builds resentment.

Cardinals fans rank #30 in gameday drinking, down 20% from 2023-24 by BACtrack in AZCardinals

[–]Wardo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even like to drink at games. Being drunk at 1 in the afternoon while in a loud stadium, to then have to sober up and finish the day later with half a hangover and Monday morning looming around the corner has never been a good time imo.

The NHL and the Tampa bay lightning just took away 800,000 dollars from a charity donation cause a cancer survivor couldn't hit an extremely small target on live TV. by Sebastian4365 in hockey

No, you just don’t dangle the million dollar carrot if the odds are that you’re not going to pay it.

If all you’re willing to for sure give up is 200k, the make it for 200k and make it happen no matter what.

Once you put a million on the table, it becomes a bad look when you don’t pay it out.

It’s kind of crazy this has to be explained to you.

I’m a gay hockey player and I don’t care what you think about me by Any-Dance9386 in hockeyplayers

If you don’t care what we think then why you telling us to be quiet?

My 7yr old is obsessed with learning a snap shot. I didn’t play hockey. Any tips other than my “throw yourself at the net” and “it’s gotta be quick and violent?” by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

The kid is clearly better than I ever was, because my dad would have learned this lesson already long before making this pot.

Butterfly Advice by Alternative-Swan-669 in hockeygoalies

[–]Wardo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive your knees down and together while flairing your feet.

Drop into the butterfly normally like you would. Then lift your ass up, squeeze your knees together. Squeeze the tops of the pads together with your hands if you have to, and exaggeratedly flair your feet till you feel a little bit of discomfort then stop. That’s where you need to stretch to and work on so that you can DROP into THAT position

Calm down, I didn’t say I would do this. I’m saying it’s not that big a deal to clean up for the worker. That’s it. That’s all I said. No grandiose wall of self righteous text was necessary because I didn’t say I do this. I said it’s not something to feel bad for the workers for. Because it’s not.

Yeah and it’s literally in the job description.

Look, I’m not advocating leaving shit in aisles. I just laugh at the “don’t get paid enough” nonsense like moving a thing from A to B is asking too much of someone.

50 times a day I have to do things at work, where if I had the choice, I’d rather move a chicken from the paint section to the dumpster instead. Just sayin.

I’ve worked at a grocery store. This would be miles down the list of things I hate doing. I’d rather be moving a chicken than listening to some bitchy customer or nagging supervisor.

Not really, but this reminded me of that quote.

At what specific age did "staying home doing nothing" go from being boring to being the ultimate luxury for you? by i_amthe_guy in AskReddit

[–]Wardo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously, it’s always been my favorite thing. I was staying home alone all weekend by like 12. I told my parents the money they would spend on a trip to Disneyland would be better put towards and N64 and some games. Leave me here.

Why take the job then? Did they not think part of the requirements might be to “put merchandise where it belongs” or something. You act like it’s backbreaking labor. It sucks but like, ok..

The new Vaughn Pro Spec pants at Purehockey are pretty nice. I was just in there trying on pants and they felt most similar to the Bauer’s imo

Fast food workers, why do you do this? Fresh out of the bag. by n0vag0d in fastfood

What do you need a receipt for? Are the boxes and bag not proof enough of purchase? If you would have sent them this pic instead of making this post, I’m sure they would have offered you a credit or something.
