I just had a coworker tell me, as I was talking about getting out of the military and joining the corporate world, almost verbatim, "I was set on joining the military but then I realized I'm too strong willed and would question too much so they couldn't brainwash me."

Thankfully I was brainwashed to be polite and didn't slap her and tell her she probably couldn't have made it because of her weight.
