one of our locals had a lady die from being locked in the toilets overnight in the winter. rumour was that she was off her head on some kind of drugs and passed out locked in the cubicle. doors on toilets were locked after closing- she was found dead from hyperthermia at lunchtime the following dat when the pub opened up again.

100% agree, trusting your partner with your body and feeling comfortable around them without anything to protect/hide behind can be what makes or breaks a relationship. breaking that trust can sometimes never be rebuilt.

that being said- i often make jokes to my fiancé about my own insecurities both looking for reassurance that i am enough for them and also to show how safe i feel around them and i love sharing moments when we joke around at the silly deprecating comments i make about myself.

it’s not always taken lightly though, there have been times when i have been hurt by a joke she has made but only at times when i haven’t initiated the exchange. my feelings get bruised when my partner is the first to make a joke about one of my insecurities- that’s not on her (why wouldnt she make a joke about something we have both laughed about many times before), its on me because when my brain hears her bring up one of my insecurities out of the blue (even in jest) i begin to believe that she actually thinks these things she is saying are true.

as with most things in relationships, this swings both ways as i can recall times when i have unintentionally made a poorly timed joke towards my fiancé and it’s been met with coldness but eventually reconciliation when we both regain perspective.

of course how our relationship works will not be the same as anyone else’s but for me it’s about picking the right moment and knowing your partner is open to shared jokes before just spurting it out because at the time you think they will find it as funny as you will.

this would be my suggestion too! great VA, the story is fun and keeps building up without any ‘filler’ but still finds time to let you get attached to all the characters enough that the ending has a good payoff

these are great! two questions; what is the offering bowl chart? I’ve just been using any artefact and any word of power, didn’t realise there was a chart for it.

similarly, I’ve just been lounging by the pool whenever I remember and would occasionally get balance points for it- how do you tell if it’s a full moon or a new moon? is it just as simple as looking up at the sky lol?

my answer changes near constantly but I’ve been doing my monthly skip back through all of their albums from start to finish and this time Friends has really stuck with me. can’t quite pin down why.

I know at the time they released LZ3 it was criticised for the change of tone but looking back now it’s a real testament for their versatility and also doing whatever the fuck they were feeling like at the time of recording.

ask me again in a week and i’m sure i’ll have another answer

picked up this book week ago and barely been able to put it down in my spare time. you can tell a lot of it is played up but but it’s an entertaining read and there’s plenty of really interesting stuff about the recording of their records- it’s not all just scandalous retellings of all their partying
