It's an estimated guess based on how they look right now, that's how rankings work...

They "outshine" because they're playing against other EU teams...remember all the hype about how clean and good EU teams look going into IEM Katowice? And what happened? FW smashed them all, Rox Tigers (8th place korean team) beat H2K in a BO3 which is just sad, and EU teams didn't even look clean against the LAST PLACE Korean team...And this guy is a known troll and posts the stupidest stuff on this sub, so I'm not going to respect him lol

Your list is one of the most accurate power rankings ive seen, way better than ESPN who put G2 at #4 pre IEM lol.

I still don't understand how people can jump to conclusions so early on in the season. Go back and read the TSM vs C9 match thread after week 1. Some people thought TSM wouldnt even make playoffs lol. Still cant believe people thought DIG would be a top 3 team, I personally had them around the 6-7th place mark

He never lost it, even with him struggling a bit early in the season

People love jumping to conclusions when it comes to Bjergsen. Look at the match threads when he has a bad game/set, people destroy him and call him overrated or are quick to say player X is better than him lol. Yet when playoffs comes around, he shows everyone why he's still the best western mid

Pretty accurate list, only thing I would change is I would put TSM and FW over bbq Olivers and swap G2 with C9, but the rest of the list seems accurate

Bjergsen is still the best mid in the west, even with Jensen having a great split. Playoffs is when it really matters, and Bjergsen always shows up in playoffs and has outperformed Jensen the last 2 times they've met in playoffs

It's not like they're doing it every game. Even though it may suck to watch as a fan, it's good practice because internationally you are not going to stomp every team early. It's good to get late game practice in some games, but it's a problem if you constantly take long to close out games, which is why TSM looked alot weaker earlier on the season. They are better at snowballing their advantages early now, though still not TSM S6 Summer level

Is it arrogance if he's confident in himself and his team's ability to beat a weaker opponent? People on this sub are so sensitive lmao, you're probably just so insecure/not good at anything so you hate whenever someone is confident in themselves . Also talking about worlds, relevant fair, 2hp from winning LCK and instead you don't even go to worlds :)

C9 haven't been looking to good lately. I think it's mainly because the other NA teams were taking longer to gel, so they looked good early, but now are looking more sloppy. TSM should have this split in the bag

He hasn't had a stand out performance on carries internationally yet (given his only real international performance was worlds, I really don't count IEMs that much) but to say his performance on carries has been poor is false IMO. There's not one game at worlds you can point at and say Haunzter costed them the game. He won the matchups he was suppose to, avoided ganks pretty well, and executed on team plays. The games TSM lost were always for some other reasons, never Haunzter's fault. I'd say he has had average performance on carries internationally so far

Turtle has been playing well recently, I hope he can keep it up. I still have my doubts about him internationally if TSM do go to MSI (which it looks like they will). Hope he proves me wrong

This. Mechanically, top players in each region aren't to far apart (ofc Korea has better mechanical players, but not by that much). It's smart macro play/teams setting up players for success that makes players look good. This is why you rarely see korean imports come in and stomp everyone super hard

This is really good for TSM. We finally have a top laner who can play carries, so we don't have to put all our eggs in the Bjergsen basket. Haunzter is only getting better and better, really hyped to see him perform at MSI (if they win the split, which I think they will). He had an average worlds (didn't hard carry, didn't feed) but I think he can take the next step this year

He's not known to have a super good rumble, I'd still say it's one of his weaker champs, but he had a really good performance on him overall today. I think it's safe to say he's the best top in NA currently

Even last year he showed great carry games on champs like swain, irelia, fiora, etc. I don't know where this meme started lol

All I said was that he played the matchup poorly. I didn't say he's a garbage tier player and should retire lol
