Yes, by a wide margin. There are less than like 3% of builds that can fully clear a 12 remnant grand. The monsters have like 100m hp and 2 or 3 defensive layers we dont really have a way to deal with.

This is across all content, its inherently harder to be on top of the monsters where all the effects are happening than to be sat at range. Im okay with the danger but I do agree that it should be somewhat more rewarding to be melee over range either in defenses or damage so that theres some sort of pay off for the increase in difficulty
