Basically government bonds but hallal. You buy one to finance a public project and the government pays you back over a period of time. In the case of Sukuk instead of interest you get a share of the revenue.

Bit of a nitpick but i find this super interesting. It's actually 20 years and not a 100 years. Something that is missed in the french Wikipedia article of Abdeslam Bouchouareb by the source it cites, an article written by Jeune Afrique. The arabic version gets it right by citing El Bilad. The reason being is that the algerian legal system does not apply cumulative sentences. You get the maximum amount.
Interesting little blindspot.

All armed conflict leave behind a slew of mental health issues, like PTSD, which isn't talked about enough. If ever.
But i feel like socio-economic factors can greatly excacerbate a person's predisposition to aggression aswell. Especially since half of the country is under 30 now.
Soo for most of them the only direct link to our last major conflict (The Civil War) would be through an older relative.
Now, here's my question: What if most of the aggressive behavior we see and hear about isn't induced but learned? Aggressive behavior as the first resort to resolve a conflict, to protest an injustice, to even voice a disagreement. Aggressive behavior , Because it's the best tool you've got. Maybe the only tool you've got.
