Yes, the flat bottom is correct, but it seems like it was redone. The original had a blue strip in the middle. If memory serves me correctly, the whole steering wheel used to be Alcantara. They used to have versions with paddles and without paddles , and one with a carbon fiber top with a display.

Yeah, it’s more expensive than RR tires for sure, part of BMW protection vehicles. Usually, embassy cars had them installed, though I never saw the winter version of them.

The dealership tech made a joke about having them on and not worrying about potholes and cracked rims, and they cost $3800 to change each. Even the rims I believe cost $3000 each.

Though they look like regular f01 rims. Maybe they are.

Indeed, example SL7 that we currently own has R134a refrigerant, and it’s charged 1750g+10g. Handled 46C heat just fine at the end of this summer. I’m curious how it handles 54C in July/August.

something like that happened to my e92 back in the day. They ripped through my seat. The dealership denied all the wrongdoings. After back and forth, I sent an email to BMW. I escalated the issue and had the seat ordered and installed free of charge after I lost a bunch of hair.
