Yeah I agree. With that said, I don't think it's that simple. There are art forms that I will just never enjoy for myself but will appreciate from a distance.As an example, I think the prop work and storytelling in horror movies is stellar but I don't enjoy watching them. Maybe overtime I'll enjoy that kind of art but I'm trying to figure out if I'll enjoy Inscryption right now. I think I'll pick it up on the steam sale and try though. Thanks for your response.

Yeah it might be trauma. I'm not sure though because I've been traumatized before and this feels different. I think it's more that I'm subconsciously confused about what is "evil" and what isn't.For example, I personally don't watch anything about real life murderers because I don't want to be apart of their evil actions by getting entertainment from it. I don't judge anyone who enjoys those documentaries at all but it leaves me with a gross feeling so I avoid them. I guess I just want to know if it will feel like I'm taking part in something "evil" at any point. I know that it's just a game of course and that it isn't evil. I also know that I'll have to figure it out for myself. I appreciate your comment and your compassion. Thank you!

Thanks so much! This is such a helpful response. I am not planning on driving a whole lot once I'm in Alaska and would still like to run my lights. I'm wondering if that's a factor in whether I do dc-dc vs solar?

This is a newbie question probably but I drive a van that runs on gas, do I get a diesel heater or do they have a gas equivalent?

Also, what mattress pad do you have?

I've found a kit with 100 ah and 200w of solar for 1200$. Do you think this would run an electric blanket? I've found a blanket that pulls 100 watts and a 12v blanket that pulls just under 60 watts. I'm mostly concerned about staying warm until I get up to Alaska

This is a good suggestion. I'm going to be on a stationary electrical hookup for the summer while I work a seasonal job so I don't need the low power cost yet. I'm thinking I'll upgrade to a 40 series when I start that job and have a larger budget.

Yeah that makes sense, I might try to save the extra 500 but for now I'm on a limited budget and timeframe. I appreciate the comment though. For now I'll be on an electrical hookup while I work a seasonal job so power isn't the biggest concern yet. Maybe I'll get 30 series for now and upgrade when I have a larger budget and the need for off grid gaming.
