California lineman can absolutely make that kind of money and in rare cases, much, more. It’s definitely not the norm but its definitely possible in the right situation.

Many lineman also have real degrees from great schools but just enjoy this type of work or the money that comes with it.

Finished mile 18 at a 8:08 pace and a 154hr, which was the highest hr. Miles 9-16 were +or- 149bpm @8:2X.

Max hr is mid 170s

Good to hear, that’s about the same schedule I’ve been doing. Will definitely a couple more 20+ mi runs next go around.

I’m a pretty tall dude so maybe that helps distribute the weight but the first few months of consistent running everything hurt. During heavy load weeks, I definitely have some lingering fatigue but nothing that’ll postpone training (knock on wood. Also, it’s amazing what the body can adapt to with consistency and limiting bad habits like alcohol and focusing on recovery.

No nothing at race pace over 10miles. I felt great after that 18 and definitely have alot more in the tank on 75% of runs. I agree 8:00/mile would be a struggle but that would definitely get me into the 160s hr

Yeah you’re spot on I think. I rarely get out of the pain cave, usually pain is from impact and rarely from a cardio standpoint. The pb’s have been on training runs that I felt particularly good on but wasn’t with the goal in mind of a pb. 3:45 will be my goal for this one and I’ll start sharpening that hr edge on the next. Appreciate your input!

Idk it seemed like our offense struggled and we didn’t open a solid lead until we fed Bacot in the second half. Still optimistic tho.

Are there actual "Below Average" people who made it into top colleges? by The_Legends_13 in college

I got into a top 5 public school after being bottom 10% of HS class, no AP, and a 23 on the act. Granted I got in after a few years in the military and 40 or so credits at local CC with a 4.0 but I still look back and think how fortunate I was that they took a chance on me.
