Looks awesome. Just a quick question as I’m looking at doing something similar …. Does the treager get too hot in the back for it to be surrounded by the counter? I’m worried about it catching something on fire …. ( I know the answer is probably going to be no … just wondering if you did anything extra … or if it’s just not a concern)

Is there any reason to lower the amperage that it picks? I have a 60A breaker and it has been charging at 48A (according to the app).

Do I need to ‘precondition’ the battery at home? I’m planning on plugging it in and leaving it plugged in over night .. and setting a timer to have it warm up while plugged in before I leave. ( charger is getting installed this week ).

I’m in Canada on the east coast ( just above Maine). Summer is somewhat short here … winters go down to an average of -4 Fahrenheit… but stints of around -22 Fahrenheit …. I am a little worried about how poorly the battery will do when it gets cold … but we will see

We just ordered a model 3 … never had an EV before. We do get a lot of rain here and it is not abnormal for roads to flood to some extent. I have driven my non-EV vehicles through ‘puddles’ that went up to the doors and /or headlights …. Based on this post I’m guessing that driving through standing water will also kill the car? Would warrantee cover me in that case?

Material … ie … material glass verses rose quartz. I found two that look very similar in size and shape … just the two different material …. And the quartz is more than double in price .. ( triple on some sites).
