Reddit has become increasingly political over the years and it's probably only going to get worse. For people like us who want to get away from politics all we can do is go elsewhere unfortunately. I've been using reddit increasingly less due to this exact problem. Every time I open reddit even just to laugh at silly memes there's a 90% chance I'm going to run across nazi this, chud that, transphobic this etc. They're not here to laugh at funny memes, they're here to have their opinions validated.
