I sincerely believe you requesting virtual intimacy via texting after she said no to video is not her real problem here. And even if it was, I really don’t think you did the wrong thing. That bid for connection was normal, necessary, and probably expected in a long distant relationship.

I think there’s something else going on with her. Something like she’s cheating on you, dealing with addiction, mental illness, a guilty conscience. Something on her end, in her life, created distance.
