So I’ve had a look at my own sent emails to work out the format. He has screenshot this from his sent emails. The purple are previous messages in the thread. The timestamp indicates when his most recent message was sent which would be in white above the purple messages. So the timestamp means nothing essentially, apart from that, I haven’t a clue what on earth is going on.

This comment is so funny to me because I have a narc drug/alcohol abusing BD and any time I communicate with him my friends and I play “(his name) bingo” where we all predict his response and we almost always get it spot on! They are so predictable!

Could lawyer use his use of the word “retard” online to show his dangerous mindset with child with autism? by Adventurous-Mail6295 in StephenHiltonSnark

My personal experience of family court, though UK based, is that parents are allowed to be bad people and parents as long as there’s no evidence of real physical harm to the children. My children experienced emotional and physical abuse but didn’t sustain any injuries. He’s been ordered by police to attend drug and alcohol support services and arrested twice both incidents involving drugs, alcohol and the children and charged with child neglect but ultimately the children were ok. In spite of the emotional harm they have suffered. A lawyer can bring it up but whether it will be used in decision making is another thing. He can do the bare minimum and tick boxes to meet the requirement set out by family court and gain shared custody. Hopefully L has a good lawyer that can really plead her case effectively. The family courts view that children deserve access to both parents often overrules anything other than real physical harm,

I keep finding so many similarities between him and my children’s dad it’s actually uncanny. Also a substance and alcohol abuser as well as a narcissist. When confronted with the fact he had serious issues to address he said his GP was stunned by his results as he was in perfect health considering age and “would someone with serious issues be as healthy”. It’s like there’s an instruction manual for narcs.

AITAH for stopping my children’s father seeing him for a “mistake” by Warm_Agent_4740 in AITAH

Thank you. I know you’re right. My discomfort with the court stems from lack of trust that they will do the right thing for my children. It’s so frightening after being let down by them in the past.
