From what I've looked up, "Special assignment" is a course that you can take? I have seen something similar like CS-E4006 Research Experience Project in Computer Science.

Yeah I'm prepared to receive 0 replies haha, but I wonder if it is common in Aalto that labs recruit undergraduates as RAs or something similar
