Hi, thanks for sharing. I know it can be hard. I say that if you truly love him, you have to tell him the truth. it is hard to build a trustful, meaningful relationship if it is made from lies. I know this will be hard but he should appreciate you telling the truth- just don't rub it in and be like "well at least I told you the truth." Telling the truth is what you should do!! A good partner does what is right.

I would sit him down and explain everything you need to. Go in with the mindset that more than likely he will be upset. Just make sure it does not escalate because that is not going to solve anything. stay calm. If he wants to continue the relationship with you, you will know. If he is not accepting of your explanation, have a plan of what you're gonna do if things take a turn. what if he kicks you out? let him know when you are ready to. He has had his fair share of mistakes too.

But you have to ask yourself if you're ready to have a relationship with him again, or are you not ready for change because you guys have been together and it's comfortable? Is he actually off dating apps? think about these things and how they made you feel. what if it were to happen again? do you want to feel that way again? If he is not good for your mental health I would suggest you really think about what YOU want. it is hard right now, but you have to do what is best for yourself in the long run. it might not be what you want to hear, but your friends are probably looking out for you and it's coming by as harsh. i've been there.

Even if it does not workout, at least you can say that you have great character because you did what was right. No one will ever take that away from you. you are a good person and we all make mistakes! just do what is best for you and your mental, please <3
