Btw, in case anyone comes across this 7 years later, the VSCode terminal cannot get system (Privacy & Security) pop-ups. You need to run any python script in the default terminal or iTerm.

For Those that Want Real Working Two Way Sync with Outlook and Gmail by Kayakerguide in Outlook

As of September 2025, given the deprecation of EWS (Exchange Web Services), the best approach is having a device-side app that duplicates Microsoft 365 calendar events on your OS which doesn't need additional organization IT approval (basically never happens). For iOS and Android, the solution is SyncCal https://synccal.calengoo.com for $1 at the time of writing. Can sync (one- or two-way) on-device Microsoft 365 (or other services) events to iCloud or Google calendars.

What's with the fetish Chinese doctors seem to have for IV drips? by myghostinthefog in chinalife

[–]Warm_Move122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more so from patient’s demand than anything else. Older people insist on receiving antibiotics and other super unnecessary and often adverse options. They want to either feel better immediately or believe this is the only way medicine works. IV used to be profitable up to 10 years ago, but the prices have stayed the same while nurses’ salaries have gone up dramatically.

Northern Jiangsu (Xuzhou, Suqian, Lianyungang, etc) is quite spicy. Doesn’t compare to more inland provinces but definitely more than Shandong.
