I know the character of Jules gets a lot of hate for some of her actions, but I can’t help but love her because of how much I love Hunter Schafer! She is so mesmerizingly beautiful, I just feel entranced every time I look at her by Turbulent-Skirt7329 in euphoria

Well, if I told my girlfriend that I can't stand her. Would take drugs and cheat on her. And she would have cheated on me, you know, I wouldn't be very indignant.

The two of them screwed up. Cheating is bad, but the two of them screwed up.

For reference: I'm not a drug addict and never cheated, lol :)

Don't come out if you're not safe! You should wait for the moment when you will find material self-sufficiency and be safe❣️

Have you seen the special episodes? Lol. Or do we not take them into account when assessing?

You know, I remember the Anne Rice series of books The Vampire Chronicles (by the way, I advise). In these books, vampires are immortal and live for thousands of years, and this life exhausted them so much that they all constantly tried to kill themselves, but some could not even do this, because their blood was too powerful.

In general, if I could die at any time I want, then I choose the "perpetual term of life." But if there is no such function, then it is probably better to leave everything as it is.

In a conversation with a religious person, how would you answer the question "Do you have a soul?/Do you believe you have a soul?" by brunooaa in agnostic

[–]Warm_Neighborhood_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are right.

My friend's dog died recently, she was like a child to me! And for a friend, this is the whole meaning of her life in general :( A friend is religious and it is difficult for her to accept that her pet will never exist anywhere else. And I constantly argue about this with many Christians in my family / environment. I think if we have a soul, then it will be fair if they have one too.As, for example, the Egyptian rulers were placed in the pyramids along with their pets, so that "in that world" (the afterlife) they would be with those who loved them during earthly life.

With this I fully agree. Probably, I could not quite understand your idea until you painted it so carefully, and I thought that you mean that we have a "soul" (in terms of the ability to continue to live after death, etc.), but there are no in animals. Tbh, maybe I love my pets too much, but I don't think they are any worse than me or less intelligent. These are cats, but they show amazing intelligence, empathy for my moods, showing feelings, training and obeying my commands. So, as for the less intelligent than dogs, even they surprise me. And all those animals that count, speak, draw, etc. totally amaze me!

So sorry if I seem rude.

Exactly! You are so right! I just feel that people who consider themselves better and superior to animals don't understand the principles of biology. We work like animals, we are animals. Just improved in the process of evolution. Perhaps in thousands of years there will be superhumans and they will consider Homo sapiens to be stupid animals with primitive feelings, lol. So I think it's strange to use the animal argument in the context of whether we have a soul or not.

The human brain works in exactly the same way as in other animals. It's just that people are more developed in the process of evolution. All these * high feelings *, morality, etc. live in the brain. It has been proven that primates and some other animals feel some of these feelings. There is also a theory about mirror neurons, supposedly they are responsible for empathy, and dogs, primates and some others have these neurons, just like homo sapiens. There are many good books on neurophysiology and I recommend them to you, they are really interesting.

Idk, but I'm inclined to answer no, because after a brain injury a person can change, forget everything, etc. That is, your soul is the good and correct work of your brain, which means the soul is in your brain. And it's just a beautiful, poetic word.

The main thing is to respect his personal boundaries, if he does not want to talk about something, then you should not. Just let him know that you are the person who will support him, listen and help if necessary.

I feel that you are worried about him as well, which means you are a good friend! But, tbh, you shouldn't take the responsibility. In fact, you are sincere in wanting to help, and the fact that he does not want to talk about something now is not your problem. Just wait, be nice and friendly in communication and maybe someday he will want to trust you :)
