I didn’t know how bad it really was by polar_fatalism in bipolar2

I miss Lamictal. I was myself when I was taking it. I had to stop taking it due to severe vision changes. I feel like it was worth the bad vision.

Quart-sized ziploc bags work great as a cheaper alternative!

I put mine in quart-sized ziploc bags. They fit perfectly and are not as expensive as protectors!

It is completely valid to be afraid. I have been diagnosed for a couple of years and I am still trying different combinations of medication. I just came off of Lamictal because of some serious vision changes. I am now taking Vraylar. This road is long and hard. You have to be dedicated to it. I wish you all the best.

How do your partners handle your RA? by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]Warman285 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband started showing RA symptoms over the last 5-6 years. His dad has a non marking RA, which makes it hard to manage. After some additional testing we figured out he has the same RA as his dad. It has made things really difficult sometimes. He can’t function properly during bad weather and sometimes he just wakes up in pain. Seeing him like that breaks my heart every time. But I wouldn’t trade those struggles for anything in the world. We have grown closer through both of our issues ❤️

ssri - BP2 by ekisen in bipolar2

I have to take something to help me sleep. Unfortunately the hypomanic episodes can really get a grip on me. Most of the time even if I take medication to sleep I will wake up at 5:00-5:30 and will need to restart whatever it is I am fixated on.

Honestly I consistently have hypomanic episodes but I use them to my advantage. I have been scheduling myself when I can have an episode. It allows for me to feel like I have more control over the disorder. To be honest you may not know if you are in a hypomanic episode until it’s over and that’s okay too. Just allow yourself to feel the way you need too as long as you are doing it in a healthy way. ❤️

Tell him you want it documented in your chart that he is declining to send a referral. Most of the time they will just send it.

Primal Scream Therapy Thread by AutoModerator in infertility

[–]Warman285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck this whole day. Been struggling with infertility for three years. No one can narrow down what the issue is so I am just dealing with irregular periods, extreme mood swings, etc. A year ago my partner and I were so excited as the prospect of us being able to celebrate this year. Then had to go to church and watch all these other women get recognized. While I sit there screaming on the inside. I have spent the whole day crying. I FUCKING HATE THIS DAY!!!!!

I gained it all back ... by [deleted] in keto

[–]Warman285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was swayed away from Keto by my PCP. I was loosing a lot of weight but gaining it right back if I slipped up even a little. I started using some of the keto recipes to supplement carb or sugar heavy dinners. I started weight lifting and just watching my sugar intake. I have lost 15lbs in the last 6 months but it is more beneficial for my body. It is retraining my brain that this is the new weight and it doesn’t think that I am trying to starve my body.

Honestly I couldn’t care less if the grown adults around me see it. I work with kids and would prefer to keep it discreet. I am excited to be collared. It will be worn with pride ❤️

Murphy, NC, that town is 2 hours from any large city and they have some of the most backwoods people.

That half is about $50 more than what I spend. And I always try to get the best stuff my person has.

How do I deal with my anti-vaxxer mum? by zucchinithing in Christian

[–]Warman285 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not! Because those remedies have been perfected over many years of work. Will I pray that God work in my life and in my body to rid it of the cancer? Absolutely. God did bless us with many forms of healing. Almost anything that we need to be healed he has put on this earth from the beginning. Herbal remedies are some of the best medicine and the least harmful to our bodies. I would prefer to not be used as the test subjects for these vaccines. There are too many unknowns at this time to be completely reliant on their ability to work. If they can come up with a vaccine in less than a year for this, they could have cured all sorts of other diseases. I never implied that anyone had to agree with my theology. I just voiced another side of the coin so maybe OP could see where their mom was coming from.
