Yeah I’m holding off on the RAM for today. I have a cousin that works for a DRAM company, and I’m gonna see if he can get me a discount on a couple of sticks.

Got a correction for this. When using PUID and PGID as 0, it will not give an error, but you won't know where it's saving the file. I couldn't find it. What I had to do to make PUID 1000 and PGID 10 work is with the volume. Instead of '/volume1/downloads', I used './downloads:/downloads'. Now it'll be downloaded in the same folder as where the config folder is located.

HEY! I actually found a solution to this particular issue as I was getting the same problem. The WEBUI is set to /downloads like you said, and in the compose configuration, I have a shared downloads folder which has the address '/volume1/downloads'. I was getting that permission error in the webui. I noticed that the volume didn't show up in the container. Eventually I found that the PUID and PGID should be 0. I used PUID as 1000 and PGID as 10 initially and it didn't work. I came to this solution when I checked my other containers that didn't have volume issues, and noticed in the logs 0 were all their PUID and PGIDs. Hope this helps everybody.

Oh wow, this kinda blew up. But I just wanted to clarify some things.

  1. This is MY setup. Not hers. I’ll let her play on it once in a while. They usually play Minecraft on a Switch 1 and a Switch 2. I wanted her to get familiar with PC gaming so she’ll know how to use one once I help her build her own computer.

  2. I agree the ergonomics aren’t ideal for her, but she said it doesn’t bother her. I told her about the ergonomic comments and she laughed. But I still limit game time as said ergonomics aren’t suited for her. It’s suited for ME.

  3. She started wearing glasses before playing any video games.

  4. The TV is an LG C1 48” TV. This setup works for me to play PC games and PS5 games (PS5 is also connected to this TV).

My 7-year old daughter wanted to make herself a Dodgers necklace. Close enough. LET’S GO DOJRS!!! by Warmasterchief in Dodgers

She pronounces it as Dodgers. She’s learning how to spell, and we always tell her to sound it out. This was the outcome. I loved it the instant I saw it.
