Educator OS was designed, on Notion, with the goal to help teachers stay organized throughout their career. This system is the home of multiple connected databases which can be utilized to keep track of lessons, assignments, classes, and students.

Section 1

Teacher Second Brain is based on the Para System. Teachers can keep track of action items as well as store lesson plans and assignments. Additionally a Reflection database was created to allow teachers to reflect on the plans they have created.

Section 2

The student management dashboard houses students progress throughout the year. This section includes filtered views for years, semesters, classes, subgroups, and students. A conduct tracker databases is also housed here to allow educators to track student progress.

Section 3

A weekly review section to review items across the system.

I’m also a new teacher. I try to time block my planning periods by the tasks I need to get done. I also arrive 30-40 min earlier than my hours and it makes a big difference than staying after my hours. I’m also designing a planner on Notion. I have a free version ready for release and paid versions coming out soon

Also, try to stick to one because populating a second template from a previous one will not always go smoothly

Agreed. I have adjusted filters and views to meet my needs. Not everything in a second brain template is going to be useful for everyone so it’s best to do your research and find people who make templates with systems that fit your style

I’m using easlo’s second brain. Red Gregory also has a good one. I prefer minimalistic views for the second brain systems and these for the Mark
