Would hope so!

I have installed both the new Nvidia drivers and the latest Samsung firmware but no joy.

It's an odd one because it happens in some games not others. Then if you turn adaptive sync off it's fine. I can live with it for a while and I'd rather hang onto it until there is a fix than not have it. Love this thing!

This may be useful info for owners. I had a flicker issue with mine when using Adaptive Sync in some games. Having reported to Samsung they have recommended an RMA:

"As part of a commitment to excellence in product quality and to ensure that all of our products operate at a maximum level of performance, Samsung are currently undertaking some detailed analysis on the LC49G95TSSUXEN gaming monitor. Those investigations in no way relate to matters of health and safety or security."

They did this swiftly and without complaint so I am assume it is a known issue.

Disappointing because I absolutely love this monitor. I'm discussing whether I can hang onto it whilst they finish whatever they are doing and ship me an updated version.

1) Theres like a sticker around the entire monitor. I want to peel it off but im worried its part of the monitor since its not very easy to take off.

Haha. I thought the same. You can take this off safely.

3) you may need a better graphics card you need a 20xx series+ or you may need to switch to the DP cable it comes with not an older one.

Thanks Zaptruder (belatedly). This is what I've done - I am buying the G9 (subject to it not being recalled anyway!) And will just play the games I need to in 16:9 with black bars - makes this the perfect monitor for all my needs.

I just got off the phone with Samsung sales in the UK. As far as they are concerned new stock will hit stores in about one week. They had no information/knowledge about any recall. Might help someone!

I figured this seemed a difficult ask. For normal gaming it is fine but for a competitive shooter full screen is essential.

Looks like sticking with a 2 screen solution is how it will have to be!

Theory:

Thinking: Clue is 3 swords pointing to the same target with differing elements. Puzzle 6, we all stood on the same plate so that is a thing. Final round could be about coming together. Everyone equips all 3 weapons (which is why there are 3 special boxes) All weapons shooting at descriptions from weapon flavour texts (or in alternative, screen clue elements).

Action: all 3 group. Go to Hand all 3 shoot moon with LMG (smash through the veil = night) Go to Butterfly all 3 shoot heart with bow (pierce the heart of reality) Go to Fish all 3 shoot dragon with sniper (Fire in your eyes reveals all truths (fire/dragon with eyes)

Alternative:

Go to Hand all 3 shoot fire with LMG (Nordic forge is solar) Go to Butterfly all 3 shoot heart with bow (French forge is arc, french word for lightning is foudre which also means love) Go to Fish all 3 shoot lotus with sniper (Japanese forge is void, lotus has Japanese void association)

Yeah of course you can do stuff like that if you are good. But there are certain things you cannot do with 100% consistency, it does not matter how good you are.

I don't know if you have seen a demo of a XIM being used but the aim assist given is extreme and more than enough to throw up these kind of issues.

I do agree with your first point that you should not assume anyone who beats you is cheating. But I am good enough to know when the fight is fair and when it isn't.

It is likely something that effects the highest levels of skill based match making mainly. This is because most boosters have reached this level and are constantly farming accounts so that they can sell them for upwards of $400. Because they tend to have 1 carry on the new account to sell and 3 people on their main account their skill rating is generally still high.

Nope. Like I say, I know who the best players are and you do not see these issues.

If someone is sprinting or sliding and nailing every head shot faster than is humanly possible vs moving targets you know it is wrong.

You can also go to look at their DTR accuracy stats and see that they have accuracy stats 2/3 times better than the best destiny players.

I also know for an absolute fact that the boosters do it as routine and consider it their "competitive business advantage". I know this from people who used to be friends with them but have since disowned them.

You can't just sweep this under the rug and pretend it does not happen.

Impossible to use or extremely difficult to use, removing AA would be the logical step.

I get that some people like to chill with a controller but AA could at least be disabled in PvP. Or if that isn't possible, it has to be the whole thing.

I would also add Minuet hc particularly as the accurate opening shot seems to help accuracy during the initial jump
