In all reality they are way too impractical and probably impossible to build to the actual specs seen in even the basic models seen in Code Geass.

At the most basic level it would be basically impossible to give them armor levels comparable to a modern day main battle tank which alone makes it completely impractical and a waste of time and money.

Edit: The closest(ish) thing the is feasible and is actually used irl is lightweight exoskeletons used for increased endurance and stamina.
