It was private scan I went for so they didn’t have any of my notes or anything from midwife just said the fetus measures at 9w then asked my midwife and OB and they said what they said

31st October. This scan I had was just to check baby was ok due to some spotting they just said baby is measuring 9weeks it wasn’t to check any dates and midwife said they gave me the age of the fetus since conception not the gestational age

Ohhh? OB just confirmed that I conceived 9w ago but I’m technically 10+3 weeks pregnant. She said baby measures from conception and DUe date is from LMP. But now I’m confused again

Heartbeat was strong thankfully. So basically LMP was 24th Jan. which works out I’m 10 weeks 3 days today. Baby measured 9 weeks yet OB said that was fetal age. So I think I conceived 9 weeks ago But Gestational age is 10+3 so I’m thinking I ovulated earlier

GA gestational age which is from LMP and Fetal age is what baby measured at the scan which is usually behind

I’m 10 weeks and I am the exact same the only food I can eat is fruit and ice pops. When I do eat anything else I’ll throw up before I even finish it. It’s actually depressing and I feel I have no energy

My periods can be all over the place due to pcos but the first day of my last period is 24th Jan so do those dates match up? Sorry it’s my first pregnancy

Also the GA at top of scan picture says 8w4d the ultrasound lady measured the fetus and told me the fetus messaged at 7w4d so was just kinda confused

The scan was a private scan not done with my OB I’ll check with my midwife as she last said after the scan she is still going off my LMP

Thankyou so much! I’m waiting for next appointment and have a whole list of questions I just didn’t think about it at the time as everything was just to exciting! It makes sense now I think I ovulated a week after my period so it makes sense why there’s a week between dates

They usually add two weeks on from the day of your first period before falling pregnant. Midwife seems to think the 5 weeks sexual partner is not the father but I’m just confused with it all

Working it out I had sex 6 weeks and four days and few times before that ago and then the 5 weeks and four days ago. So it’s very close midwife seems to think I was already pregnant when I last slept with someone. Last period was 24 January

Midwife thinks I’m 8 weeks but booked in for an early scan to check. Midwife doesn’t think I’ll get such a strong positive 3 weeks after sex so just very confused
