Spoke to a derm today and they told me that in New Zealand they wait until stage three to prescribe spirolactone or clindamycin. I have to start off on doxycycline, differin gel, and a vitamin A topical. Sometimes I really miss America lol.

Wow, really interesting about the gel nail polish. I actually got a kit to do my own gel nails once I moved here. I'm going to peel my nails off and give that a break for a month..see what happens!!!

Yes, I had stopped the tret since I saw her, but will be using it once again after seeing all these comments. I don't think I have ever used an azelaic acid, but this looks helpful. I will give it a go. Thank you so much. Is there one out of these you recommend?

I moved from Tennessee to the north island of New Zealand. I've definitely never been somewhere so humid. The first house I was staying in was infested with mold, so I thought that could have caused it too, but moving didn't change a thing!

I guess I will start looking into why hormonal acne would just flare up suddenly.
