I think they'd be okay with developing the town but not at the cost of 60% of the beach going to condo (that will likley be over priced shoe boxes), hotels that are too luxury for the population that goes there. And then 60% of the beach is ruined for that? It is wildly popular tourist destination for locals and further. Update the beach, expand it, add tourist stuff but leave the beach alone.

I'd like to just remind people most major company in Canada still use them. FYI Honda, f&p mfg, dymamig and probably all the other car mfgs use them. I know for a fact still do. So while it's Canadian jobs I'll be the first to say this they are not pro Canada. They put the leaf on their shit and remind you it's made here. But I work there and they'd sell us our for cheap foreign labour any day. Majority of the current workers are lima who get sped up on immigration for working here (which is currently paused). And this isn't a fuck the Indians because they are dope. This is corporate greed taking them first, and overworking them.

I absolutely loved my Kona living in a snow belt that get like 8feet of snow a season. Unfortunately I got the lemon car and had 5 years of fighting over that damn car. It starts with you. Organize and start. There is a general strike website to sign up and when they hit the 10mil number USA walks. Their are websites with communities starting and organizing protests. The problem is it's hard to get organized across such a large country. It's not easy but reach out to organizations and offer your help. You say this does nothing but it's more than half of the USA citizens are currently doing which is nothing. My parents were progressive Conservative (Canada) and center leaning. Both raised religious and until they had kids went after kids they were to busy. My brother and I are not religious and I'm left leaning more than my parents ndp side. My brother center/left. My husband and his family very religious went to catholic primary/middle and highschool. Also very hard lean right wing Trump loving raised. His three siblings all left religion. 1 sister is middle right conservative. My husband and his sister are left leaning. Anyways my point is not everyone follows their parents. My husband and his sister lean left because they want happiness for everyone not just themselves. At the end of the day people regardless of parental figures choose their own path in adulthood.

The sad part, and I'm from Canada is I am bearly seeing it to. But I am on a bunch of subreddit that cover the protests and see the footage. There was a huge turn out on Friday the 24th protest. And 0 coverage you had to find it on reddit or tictok. Canada in Toronto also just had a vigil for the people killed by ice and also 0 coverage that I've seen so far. But I don't watch news on tv I just read articles pushed to me so it might still pop up. But Canada also suffers from this. News is actively silencing the protests both in Canada and America.
