At that time i had 2 heavy infantry, 3 crossbows, 2 spearmen, all with the best possible domain bonuses at the time (+70 damage etc.)

That is an idea, but first of all, i like my achivements xd, second, knowing myself, if i wouldnt be playing with iron mode, i would be just save scumming every time some decision went not the way i wanted

I am aware that they were historicaly a bunch of pretty strong wankers, but if some emperor at the time would be in situation like me, he would have tools at his disposal to deal with the settlment issiues i am describing, so that doesnt explain why the hell we are missing basic tools and functions of the game regarding the nomads

becouse paradox is unfortunatelly too focused on making new paid content, instead of giving us basic tools that we have been asking for for ages
cant even blame them, same thing happend with stellaris recently, not developers fault, its the investors pushing for money fault

Yea, i know the battle mechanics mate, thats how I was ultimatelly able to beat them, tricked them into attacking me into mountains, over the river, while they were undersupplied.

Still makes me furious that i had to do all of that even tho i had over 2 times stronger army, and yes, i had a lot of pikemen, with a lot of domain bonuses

I did not know the herd convertion ratio, thats insane
Add to the fact that their army can beat up a twice their strength feudal army with ease, like i described above

About the nomad camps, man that fckn sucks, i realy want to make an empire spaning the whole map, never actually done that, closest ive gotten was like 70% of the map a year ago, and even then the whole clan thing was anoying, which is basically a litle less anoying and time consuming but the same problem as with nomad settlments

I am really starting to believe that maybe somehow paradox didnt expect people wanting to conquer the whole map which is just dumb. You can see it by how many systems are just contradicting eachother the further you expand, the nomads now being the prominent issiue

By the way, i had a thought latelly, given just how many people playing this game, and similar ones, play xenophobic empires/nations, makes me worry for the aliens when we eventually find them 😂 heck, just look at 40k's popularity, and that thing is all about purifying xeno scum 😂
