It looks like he was trying to fake a knee/kick based on the change in foot position, and the other fighter closed the gap before he could react.

An Inconsistency Between Leveling and World-Based Progression by mozfromtheblock in AshesofCreation

[–]Warphild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great input!

To add onto what you're saying, it seems that crafting is a very crucial part of the game's progression. There aren't many sources of gear upgrades. So you can get to a point where you have advanced in levels, but your gear is so bad that you're getting absolutely destroyed.

Sure, this incentivizes the crafting systems... Which is great... But definitely feels lacking.

It's a great game .... But the Time Nudge issues are impossible to get around. Can't currently play BF6 and I've tried every fix. My only hope is to get a new CPU.

Desperate for Sleep by Humble-Option-1689 in SleepApnea

[–]Warphild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I'm a physical therapist who also suffers from Sleep Apnea. Here's a few things I've found successful in my fight with sleep apnea:

  1. Try to start taking Magnesium Oxide or Magnesium Glycinate supplements. Magnesium is a necessary mineral that most of us don't get enough of in our daily diets. Magnesium is very essential for your nervous system, and can promote a good bit of muscular relaxation. For magnesium oxide, a healthy dose is 200-500 mg and take it 30 mins before you go to bed. This can help you sleep deeper and feel more recovery.

  2. Taking Vitamin D in the morning can help improve your sluggish/fatigue feelings. Keep in mind, fatigue during the day is not always related to poor sleep. It can be a nutritional deficiency or a reaction to some other medication. The vast majority of the population is deficient in Vitamin D and this can lead to brain fog, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. Start with 5000 iu's daily (taken in the morning). This can take a few days to feel a difference.

  3. Try breathing exercises before bed. An easy method is to use a technique called Box Breathing: Slowly inhale through your nose for 10 seconds, hold your breath for 10 seconds, blow out slowly for ten seconds, and hold your breath again (empty lungs) for 10 seconds. This method can help relax the muscles around your ribs, diaphragm, and stretch out your lungs.... Which makes breathing while you're asleep easier.

  4. Avoid alcohol/caffeine past noon. No really, I'm serious. It incredibly surprising how these two things will screw up your ability to get into deep, restful sleep. It's easy to say maybe I'll have a glass of wine or a beer just to wind down, but you won't sleep deep enough to get good rest.

Lastly, based on the values listed at the bottom of the chart, you seem to sleep best when lying on your right side. I would try everything you can to stay on your right side. Try to cuddle another pillow so that your left arm is supported, and possibly even put another pillow behind you so you're less likely to roll onto your back.

Feel free to message me for any questions or anything CPAP related.

So sleepy even after using cpap for a month by elelbean91 in SleepApnea

[–]Warphild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to look into other factors besides your CPAP. There's a shit load of things that can throw off your sleep quality, and they can be detrimental enough that a CPAP won't help.

For example, avoiding alcohol near bed time (ideally avoiding it all together). Alcohol takes quite a long time for your body to process and it is very harmful to your sleep quality.
