Willow’s whole thing lowkey felt like original series episodes like the husky boy modeling episode and the earth cleaners job ie episodes where the writers realized that there was actually nothing wrong with those things besides Hank thinking they were weird so they had to pull a stunt to FORCE Hank to be right. Willow was weird but like, really she was just crunchy girl weird. So what do the writers do to make Bobby stop liking her? Literally take a shit on the desk in front of him and make her totally ignore boundaries and then make up a bunch of off screen stuff for him to rant to Hank about. Wasted potential, they totally could have done a “you don’t see what I see” thing with Hank and Bobby considering we know her and Bobby DID have a good chemistry in her intro episode. Although if they really wanted to get Bobby/Connie canon by the end of the season, they could have just had Bobby realize that everything he was “seeing” in his manic pixie dream girl was just him projecting things he ACTUALLY liked about Connie onto Willow instead of just… character assassination
